Dickens 44 was a Marin County, California artist who created innovative works of art starting in the 1960s. His works are vibrant and colorful, crazy and unique, retro and modern. He is known for paintings, ceramics and sculpture -- including "Recycledelic", his term for his mosaic and fusion pieces created from thousands of various found and salvaged objects.

Dickens passed away in May 2025 and leaves quite an artistic legacy behind. Check out his Facebook page as well at “ Dickens Forty-Four “.
